In this world High

Substances that can give you 'out of this world high' are supernatural, if not, abnormal in some parts of the world. With substances going nuts cracked by the scientist's crazy notion, I invite you 'in this world high'.

7. FerroFluids

A ferrofluid is a liquid that reacts to magnetic fields in tricky ways it betrays its origin. That is, when magnetic field is applied to the fluid, the particles of iron compound inside align to it. Once that happens, the fluid becomes a fluid-solid.

The high makes them perfect for computer assisted shock absorbers in Ferraris; high-tech flight altitude assistance used by NASA, aircraft invisibility from radar for Air Force.

6. Aerogel

It's awesome it makes you levitate. It's so cool you can make a fireproof and heat insulator at the same time as a proof of it's smoky, non-existence.

The High is for the astronaut to keep them warm in a cold out-of-this-earth experience. This will be found in the windows for temperature insulation. I can envy the windows for being close to this work of magic.

5. Perfluorocarbons

These are fluids that contain loads of oxygen, making it possible to breathe liquid.

The high for Perfluorocarbons are used for ultrasounds, and even artificial blood. It doesn't require you to walk on water but breath it in.

4. Elastic Conductors

"Move over, LED" must be the favorite line of this roll out paper thin monitor. Elastic conductors are made of "ionic liquid" mixed with carbon nanotubes.

Just another high in addition to making screens that can be rolled up and stuck in our back pocket, a lot of scientists and doctors intended to make flexible-lensed cameras made up of elastic conductors to be fitted to the back of the eyeball.

3. Non-Newtonian Fluids

Dual property under stress is a liquid that turns solid when sufficient stress is applied.

Its high could save the arm forces in a bullet proof sweater. The idea is that the fluids will allow fabrics to be soft and supple, but harden on the impact of a bullet.

2. Transparent Alumina

Wonder no more about Wonder Woman's invisible Jet. Transparent Alumina will get you to see-through.

Transparent alumina is a clear metal that is as strong as steel. It could bring you to cloud nine where windows deflect bullets, or airplane windows don't shatter when they hit you somewhere, somehow.

1. Carbon Nanotubes

Considered as the strongest material ever found by mankind is actually an accidental left over of the arc-welder experiment. These hair strand carbon nanotubes will be the fad of tomorrow where small is terrible.

This will make our world smaller, literally. From super-small computer processors and low-resistance circuitry, to super-efficient batteries, to more efficient solar panels to paper-thin materials that can stop a bullet.
