Run for Life

Hope and truth is pulling each other's leg. It is The Island's way to escape the reality of death, cloning and personality.

If there's a way to defy death to have the desired life, who would not want to? It is the common truth between the conflicting characters in the movie.

As Lincoln Six  Echo and his likes are dying due to the structured lives they live, they are hopping their way out to "The Island." The Island is a lottery prize that can be won and the source of anticipation in their regulated lives. It gives them hope as a source of wonder.

In his attempt to escape from his regulated life, Lincoln Six Echo started to loosen his faith to "The Island" The truth is keeping up with hope when he started to find answers to his questions.

As the truth of disease and death grounded the other side of the world, the characters march to the hope offered by the cloning business.

Then the two worlds crossed path in their way to living their lives. The privileged jumped for joy while those who hope for "The Island" crawl their way out. The latter will be buried to hand over their personality to the privileged. While the former lived the lie.

After watching the movie, I stood still on the fact of death defying ways to perpetuate existence. But, I cannot stand living in lies. Life finds meaning in death. Death gives reason to live.

This is the hope worth living. And the truth worth dying for.
